Now Facebook will automatically translate posts

Facebook commenced trying out a translation device which will translate posts automatically in user preferred languages.

The giant social network website first made the “multilingual composer” device available earlier this 12 months for use on pages representing businesses, manufacturers, corporations and celebrities.



It will now be available to general customers.

Admins of the Facebook pages and other users of Facebook will be able to post in multiple languages, and the visitors who communicate one of these languages will see that post in their preferred language. This will allow the user of Facebook to communicate with different people easily. Half of the users of Facebook speak and writes languages other than English.


Facebook will decide on factors that which language to use for posts by comparing the history of languages a particular user posted in.

Facebook planning to apply multilingual posts to enhance machine translation talents with the aim of at some point casting off language limitations throughout the social network.
